Winter 2006 I used the semester break of my maritime studies to sign on as A/B on the German feeder ship "CONTAINERSHIPS V". We worked on a route connecting Hamburg, Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Gdansk, Teesport and Rotterdam. This was my first experience with the Baltic ice.
