"ZUVERSICHT"

Summer 2017 I had the pleasure to skipper the German sail training ship "ZUVERSICHT" during a voyage from Kiel (Germany) to Stavanger (Norway). The 113 years old wooden schooner is owned and maintained by a group of volunteers from Kiel which is also her home port. She accommodates 18 persons of which up to 15 may be trainees. She operates mainly in the West Baltic Sea and between the Danish islands, but sometimes makes longer voyages like the one to Norway this year. We sailed with a group of young people interested in clima and ecological issues.
